We’re so pleased to welcome Yvy DeLuca and Tony Openshaw to our panel on Greater Manchester Activism and Beyond: The Next Steps 🌈

Yvy DeLuca is a South Asian trans writer and performer, and is the author of Tainted Beauty - The Memoir of an Authentic Creation, which tells her story of being a trans woman of colour. As a performer, @yvyworld is known as The BollyWitch, blending Bollywood culture and Witchcraft to create spellbinding art 💫

@tonyopenshaw runs ‘Out In The City’, a local over-50’s social support group for LGBTQ+ people. Tony set up the first LGBT+ asylum seeker support group in the UK, spoke at the Section 28 rally in 1988 in front of 20,000 people about the links between anti-racist struggle and LGBT+ rights, and was active with HIV/AIDS grassroots campaigning group ACT-UP Manchester 🔻
